I decided to participate in this months contest after reviewing DJ's thread (nice work bro). I had started sketching a cartoon Christmas Village just at the end of last month. And just this past Monday (after last months contest was over) I started modelling objects for the set I wanted to make.

I was going to make a post to request that I do something based on a boardgame, just my interpretation of the game. I had seen that everyone was doing some good games, but because last month I did not really hit the objective (food is hard to do), I wasnt really sure that I could apply the scene I was making to the contest.

Here is a couple of models that I have made so far. The entrance to Candy Cane Park, The Village Muffin (bakery & cafe) and some evergreens.

If this is not really a contest entry let me know.

I would go with the idea those models look greeeeeeeeeeeeat .It makes my monopoly one look like trash and i am thinking about doing it like a 3d city

the models look good cant say i have seen any candy that looks like the trees you made what are they called ?

haha. . .i actually made those trees before i decided to enter into the contest. . .they are supposed to be evergreens, kinda stylized if you will allow. . .they will have snow on them and look more like what they are after texturing.

still workin on the sign. . .not quite sure how to do the font portion. . .weather it is a texture or object havent decided.

Well guys, it's December 31st and no one has submitted a final render of their project. Since it's the holidays season and end of the year I'm assuming you were too busy to work on this. So the question is; Do you want still want a poll for whatever you have or would you rather skip it for this month?

hi guys. . .I am a bit embarrassed regarding the completion of this project. . .I have not finished and do not expect to finish in the next few days. . .lucky for me I got a little work at the end of the month (there is a god).

The unfortunate part about this December project is that I had applied for a position that if I had some/a cartoon set completed I think I would have gotten the job. Another reason to participate in these projects!

O well. . .keep on creating is what I always say. . .I did start to model my main character. . .here is a little peek at him in progress.
