ok so I made my object in maya (a jug) I filled it with liquid particles but when I build my mesh the polys come through the object I filled. any way to resolve this?

i'm having the same problem and i'm not finding much help so far.

the metaball mesh is always too puffy and invades the volume of my geometry.

- i tried the clipping settings but this simply deletes polys from the metaball mesh. as i understand it a lot of people have this problem. someone suggested; "try increasing your emitter resolution along w/ the density and max particle count". this yeild better fluid motion but does nothing to solve the problem with the meshes.

+ so far what has yielded some results is adjusting the emitters' (child of mesh) radius and blend factor. reduce the radius and increase the blend factor. do a little speed stretching while your there for good measure too. then reduce the polygon size for the mesh a little. this helps a little but still doesent yield acceptable results.
