I have a huge problem. I'm trying to import a very neat simulation into maya and I keep getting the same error over and over again.

I first import a "particle system in the shape of RF4 Emitter) (.bin) from RF4 into maya, that works perfectly.

However, when I try to import the mesh(.bin) into maya it gives me this message...

// Error: Invalid BIN file '/Users/GGS/scenes/INT/meshes/Mesh1Mesh0100001.bin' used by RealFlow mesh node 'realflowMeshSource1'.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It's pissing me off beyond belief because I love RF and I just bought it 3 days ago and I'm already familiar with a ton of the features and how to make awesome simulations but I can't import them so it's useless!!

Someone please help.

Seems like the naming convention might be an issue. Rename your Mesh in RF and re-build it. Hope that works.

I've tried that about 5 times. I've falled it "Fluid" "Mesh1" "Dynamic" etc etc..

If it's putting out Mesh1Mesh0100001.bin then it's clashing with an already existing data. I would suggest deleting all the mesh bin files and rebuilding the mesh. My bin files come out as water00001.bin and so forth, never been an issue.
