fur question

hello, I am trying to make a dog with fur. Problem is that i cant get much fur. I can raise the number of furs but only to a certain point. After that nothing happens, still the same amount. Strange thing is, in the pres weiv you can see alot of fur but after render there is just a small amount of fur. please help.

Have you laid out your uv's?

i know now how to fix it, if u rais the uv samples and the Density it works fine..
