shave and a hair cut kink problem!

hi all!

a simple question im using shave and a hair cut and want to slightly curl an area using the kink properties!! i have created the map etc! but im getting very small curls and cant seem to increase the size, i have adjusted all the various sliders etc but with no luck!!

any ideas???

the other thing what u can do is , manually select those guides and select brush and adjust according to ur desired placement, just select the top vertex and play with it, i hope u will get it.
