Are you trying to stack multiple bump nodes so your mesh has 4 types of bumps at the same time?
If so, you need to use the connection editor/hypershade and connect one bump's Out Normal into another bump's Normal Camera. (Then you connect the Out Normal of that one into the next one's Normal Camera and so on)

Its really not that hard, but its tricky because you can't use the hypershade to do it. What you have to do is use the command line at the bottom of the screen.
Basically what you want it to make 4 2D bump maps. Then you want to make a chain so that bump2d1 connects to bump2d2 and so on. To do this you need to open the hypershade. Then click on the button with the black box on the bottom. The hypershade should now be blank. Then create 4 2D bump nodes. Then type in the following commands:
connectAttr -f bump2d1.outNormalX bump2d2.normalCameraX;
connectAttr -f bump2d1.outNormalY bump2d2.normalCameraY;
connectAttr -f bump2d1.outNormalZ bump2d2.normalCameraZ;
copy and paste one line and then hit enter. Then repeat for the second line. Once all three are done the first bump map will be connected to the second. To connect the third, you need to use the same command only rename the nodes:
connectAttr -f bump2d2.outNormalX bump2d3.normalCameraX;
...
Once you have connected all four together, create a material and then middle click the last bump node and drop it on the Bump Mapping attribute of a material.
Finally create four file nodes and middle click and drag them onto the Bump Value attribute of the bump nodes. Then you select your files, adjust the bump value and you are done.

I know why. AT first I thought it was a typing mistake, but the problem is that there should be no space between normalCamera and X. Everytime I change it, it makes the space again.
connectAttr -f bump2d1.outNormalX bump2d2.normalCameraX;
There should be no space between normalCamera and X. Sp just remove it and then copy and paste.
Look at the two pics i've attached, they should help.
