september 08: supers fish tank

It feels pretty good to be back to doing 3D again. school has just recently started so i've been really busy with that. But anyway I noticed that the september project was up and ready for download. It seemed like it would be some fun so I opened up the file and started playing around with the paint effects tools. And this is what I made with my tablet by just simply drawing some lines with the brushes.

The only things I have a question on is how do i make it look like there is water in the tank?? let me know thanks

Hey, I was wondering what happened to you. Your August project is done? :)

Water can be made with just a plane surface, but the hardest part is to pull off caustics, lighting, reflection, refraction. Check out these tutorials;
