Hi. all DT team and Houdini users.
I would like to ask if there are new tutorials coming on Houdini.
1. I'm interested on character tools (rigging, muscles, skinning...), the model to be rigged could be pre made. There is no need for building one in Houdini, even if it's possible. Maybe you could give a displacement map made with ZBrush and learn how to apply it on the mesh in Houdini.
2. And as far as I know everyone is screaming on tutorials on Mantra rendering. It would be very useful a tutorial about lighting, shading and rendering. The topics covered should be oriented on : building a shader or customizing a pre made one, complex shaders in VOPs, with all displacement, layered shaders, sss, glass, bumpy speculars and all that.
And don't forget lighting and rendering. Topics to be covered here should be something like GI, Caustics, explained for PBR and raytracing also. I think shading, lighting and rendering are hand in hand and should be covered in one tutorial.
Thank very much !
