Modo possesses many of the capabilities of ZBrush with its own sculpting tools (except with a better interface and navigation controls, IMHO).
I would like to see something along the lines of your recent "Sculpting Caricatures in ZBrush 3", except doing it using modo instead of ZBrush, and perhaps picking a different subject to caricature, perhaps some famous male celebrity this time, for variety.

modo is surely a 3D application on the up. Pixar are using modo for quite a lot of their modelling. Both of the characters in the new Presto short were both fully modelled using Modo by Jason Bickerstaff and Richard Hurrey. It was also used heavily in WALL-E and a little bit in Ratatouille.
I have only just recently bought a license myself and have been using it as a kind of a second app to my main app Maya, as the modelling tools are just excellent (the constraint to background geometry saves me so much time). I'm also hoping DT will continue to produce tutorials for modo, and Modeling Caricatures in modo would be something I would definitely be interested in.
There is also going to be a big announcement by Luxology on the 11th August, which they say is a beginning of a new chapter. Not sure what it is going to be, but it could be interesting.

Hello Guys-
I have tackled this subject matter for some time now and I recently got a response as for Modo tutorials moving forward. DT I think is under some impression that, there are not enough demand for more Modo tutorials.
I strongly feel as you guys do, seriously I do. The problem is I think is that Maya has been around longer and the result shows regarding to the library on this site.
I found that the more I bugged them about this the more they ignored me on this matter. I am not really sure why, however again Maya gets the most attention regardless. I think if we created a sense of a strong demand for this on this site, it might just happen and we may see more exciting Modo tutorials.
I do have to give credit where it's due, DT do have some things here to get us up and running, so until they see that the Modo subject is serious here, those that are here-meaning the tutorials here, may be all we have for now.
I agree that ZBrush interface is somewhat way too much to grasp and Modo workflow feels a lot better. I feel that there are people out there that may feel that- within the tuts that are here should get us up to speed and from there it all should work out regardless of what ever we wanted to model, like Caricatures to the Bat mobile.
I wish there was something that the 3 of us could change about this but again, what we have here as for tutorials, is all we have at this point.
Maybe it would take for us to get the right attention regarding this is get more people on board with the request for Modo tutorials, and I mean a lot more of us.
Just my 2% worth

"...I agree that ZBrush interface is somewhat way too much to grasp and Modo workflow feels a lot better..."
I'm fine with Zbrush interface personally - I like new things, and high tech interface like it's. But when it comes to integration Modo means a great advantage to me because all the tools are actually in it... You don't have to import/export things - just model, sculpt and render. Which is very cool.
I agree that Maya, Max, Zbrush, Mudbox having all the attention. We need to bug DT Dudes much more to produce more training material for Modo... I can do that... I'm really good on bugging people LOL

Ditto. DT is in need of some bugging! Modo is pretty good and a natural if you had past experiences with Lightwave (for historical reasons, too, I guess). Some of the shortcuts are the same. I'm loving it. It's a hands-down modeler, very intuitive and modern. Essentially, it does the same as LW, but better and you don't have to rely on twenty plus pugins to get it up to speed. I'm all praise here. This one has a long road ahead, I'm in for the ride and so should DT.
*EDIT* I am seriously considering buying this for my own personal use. That's how good I think it is.

Modo is a really good 3D program...just upgraded to 501, a lot of great new features. I have always been amazed how good of 3D program it is. I love it, watch some of the videos from Luxology on it. Hopefully DT will provide some new tutorials on 501, it would be nice to see anyway.
