Caustics

Hi,

First of all, i received my tutorials today (I didn't expect to have them so fast ) and i want to thank you for your great work.

I watched the introduction to RenderMan for maya and it's really cool but i still have a little problem :

How can i have caustics in renderman ?

Hi Mortis,

The current release of RenderMan for Maya (v.1.1), does not have the ability to render caustics. However, it may be a feature incorporated into future releases.

I sugest you search the net to see if their is a plugin for your version. I use ones I found on highend3d.

I dont see the stuff up their anymore since they changed the site. As I said, depends on what version u have. Maybe this will help.

That is for mental ray but I think they wanted to know about caustics for RenderMan for Maya
