    Maya Shader: Building a good brushed metal shader

    One of the key challenges to creating a good brushed metal surface you normally fake the grain of the metal using a texture.  We are experimenting with building the shader completely procedurally.  The anisotropic material will allow you to see the highlights but the reflections are not correct.  One of the shaders we are looking into using for this look is the MIA_Material_X to manage our reflections.
