When I first approached learning Maya, it was a daunting task and I came to it with just a fascination for 3D and with awe from watching Maya experts. Soon, I hit the wall. I thought that I could never learn such a gigantic application, but then from nowhere, I stumbled upon DT. And thanks to the cool and relaxed instruction, DT guided me to my first simple understandings of the program... now almost two years later, although far from a master, I understand the concepts and potential of what can be done in Maya and other 3d applications. Without question I owe this knowledge to Digital-Tutors and I can not thank DT enough for leading me on an exciting new path and opportunity. But here goes - Thanks DT!

I have been in the 2D animation business for the last 15 years. I have had the opportunity of working on everything from Pinky and the Brain, where I won an Emmy Award, to Xiaolin Showdown.
Recently I have noticed a trend in the business to move to 3D and not wanting to get left out in the cold, I have devoted much of my time to learning the craft. Not an easy task I must admit. Fortunately for me, there was Digital-Tutors, which made learning a whole lot easier than poring through books and written lessons.
With Digital-Tutors it was really easy to pick up on techniques, ideas, and more. I love everything from the Rigid Body lessons to the Rigging and Animation lessons. I've learned so much from you guys and I now feel comfortable in 3D which is great for my business. As a result of my new-found knowledge in 3D, I have secured a number of projects and deals, some of which that are quite high profile. Your discs are well paced and have a fantastic balance of teaching the basics without making the user feel unintelligent.
