Hi, I am new to dreamweaver and when I try and bring in graphics I made in Flash or Illustrator they come into dreamweaver very low res and jaggy. Can someone please tell me what to do to not lose so much quality in the jump from flash and illustrator to dreamweaver?

Also I am attempting to create my own site to have my artwork and contact information. I wanted to make a cool menu bar in flash or Illustrator, but is it better/easier to do it all in dreamweaver? For a beginner what would you guys suggest as far as what should be done in other programs and what should be done in flash?? -this coming from someone who is a designer not coder and isnt looking to be a pro web designer, just wants there own site.

Thanks so much guys

Not counting the files in your SWF (Flash) file, anything on your website will need to be rasterized for display on the web. Illustrator is a vector program...i.e., not rasterized/bitmap. So it's probably trying to rasterize your images and doing a bad job at it with some default setting.

If you have Photoshop, use that for your graphics. And I would advise against using Flash for your entire site...use it sparingly.

If you don't have Photoshop, then you can do a File > Save For Web from Illustrator - just make sure your designs are large enough in your document to come out alright in the preview. Hope that helps!
