Hi,
I was wondering how people put security settings onto their images. Sometimes when I wanted to save a photograph on the internet, it will direct me to a page saying that I don't have permission.
How does a person do that in dreamweaver? So people can look at it, but not save it into their computer?
Please let me know as I am trying to make a website.
Thank you.

Or you can do a print-screen and paste it....there's many ways around any script out there. Really the only way to have people not be able to take your image would be to put a watermark on it. Then people can take it, but it's got your watermark on it so they can't re-use it elsewhere.

Don't bother, anyone who wants to will get it will very little difficulty. Just put it on your site, and if its an art work for your portfolio of something, just put a little signature in the corner, like most artists do, and then write up a little background of it there. That way, theres no doubt as the where it came from. Also always keep the source file of your projects, at least burn them, if someone claims a piece is theres, you will have no problem proving otherwise. Usually this is pretty rare though, I haven't seen this happen at any of the major CG site, at least not seriously.
