I would like to have a templated page with cell of data that when a user clicks a button the data would change. Example is this; I have a table with a row that has name, player number, position, grade.

On the side are several button to represent each play, say a picture. Now when the user clicks on the picture, the players info would appear in the cell on that row.

So I guess I am asking, instead of swapping a picture in behaviors. Can I change text with a button.

I dont want to uses layers if possible.

I could try flash 8 even, but would rather use xml or html.

Lastly does anyone have a reference for dynamic web page building for the true beginner on a mac.
