What you will learn
In this tutorial we will build a sci-fi styled robotic vehicle while we learn about concepts, building a clean model, laying out the UVs for texturing, and making textures.
Throughout these lessons we will delve into finding form in ZBrush and building a model with clean topology. We will first find some reference and then block out some forms in Maya. After that we will take the mesh into ZBrush and really rough out the shapes. This mesh will be exported to Maya and then the real modeling starts. We will then add a simple skeleton to the model and pose it after which we will add the final details. Last, we will take parts into ZBrush and add textures which will be refined in Photoshop.
